Allegheny Aikido is a community dojo in which we teach and train in the martial art created by Morihei Ueshiba, O'Sensei (1883-1969). In a world where we have a vast ability to do harm to one another, aikido embodies the spirit of non-violence for conflict resoultion. Aikido is a study for a lifetime, so it can be practiced by women and men of all ages and physical abilities.

All you have to do to begin is to come to the dojo! Please come about 15 minutes before class and talk to whomever is teaching. You are also welcome to attend one of our monthly introductory workshops. Click on How to Begin for more information.

Email us or call 412-521-0338 for more information.

We also offer parent/child classes for parents of any age and children 8 and older. Please see our schedule page for more information.
